Golden Yarns is a woman owned and run enterprise under MSME which came into existence in July 2019.
Founded and Established in the Year 2019 Golden Yarns is incubated by ALEAP WE-HUB supported by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI AAYOG, Govt. of India to develop many more innovative and market friendly products.
The socks are manufactured on the latest computerized electronic knitting machines
exacting standards recommended by the clients and industry. We strive to be widely
regarded as among the best socks manufacturers in India. Golden yarns manufacture
excellent quality socks catering to both domestic and export markets.
The Production capacity is normally based on size, design and style of socks. As per the
prevalent pattern of production, the production capacity is estimated at 08 to 10
Thousand Dozens (1,00,000 - 1,20,000 pairs) a month.

PALLAVI JOSHI TONPE
FOUNDER, GOLDEN YARNS
Is a Textile Designer with a Master’s Degree in Design from ‘National
Institute of Fashion Technology’, Hyderabad, India.
She has work experience of 20 years in the field of Designing, Product Development,
skill and technical training, to the Handloom Weavers and Handicraft Artisans.
She has worked in
collaboration with the Office of Development Commissioner for Handlooms and Handicrafts, Khadi and
Village Industries
Commission, National Jute Board, Tribal Welfare Department, Government of India towards the
up-liftment of the
artisans.
She has spearheaded special projects to revive and sustain the languishing crafts
and provide livelihood to
the artisans working with various crafts. Pallavi is also one of the members of Association of Lady
Enterpreneurs of
India and has extended her services to the related sector both Nationally and Internationally.
She has received a ‘Power Women’ award from LEAD INDIA FOUNDATION in recognition of her contributions towards Socio-Economic Development of the artisans. Taking a step forward she has also set up a Socks manufacturing facility in December 2019 to manufacture Cotton and cotton blend Socks, Health socks (viz. diabetic socks, sterilized socks, anti-skid socks) & face masks.
